Architecture Architecture

There are three compelling reasons to look at the ChamSys MagicQ line when planning a lighting control system for an architectural installation.

Whether large or small ChamSys offers systems that are powerful, reliable, and flexible.

MagicQ is ideal for controlling conventional lighting, LED arrays, moving lights or media servers. Shows and scenes can be programmed using a MagicQ console or MagicQ PC solution and then replayed on a MagicQ rack-mount console. MagicQ supports scheduled cues including cues that run based on a day of the week, day of the month, time of day (absolute or astronomical clock) and triggering based on external events through a wide array of third party sensors, and network or serial communication based events.

With the flexibility of control that is built into the software, the many output options, and all the means at your disposal for scheduling and triggering, your design won’t be hemmed in by narrow constraints. Whatever needs to happen, whenever it needs to occur, you can set it up and walk away with confidence, knowing the execution will be right every time.

MagicQ can connect to many different external interfaces using industry standard protocols such as MIDI Notes, SMPTE and MIDI Show Control thus enabling a complete "show system" to be built consisting of lighting, sound, media and control elements. Ideal for tightly coupled shows, presentations, theme parks and architectural installations.
