James Harrison
James Harrison
Curry connoisseur and known to complete "spiciest dish on the menu" challenges, James has been with ChamSys since 2013. Prior to this, he worked as a freelance lighting operator and lighting technician, starting out in a local theatre over 16 years ago. When not eating curry, James looks after the Product & Support teams at ChamSys and still occasionally takes the odd training course!

Rebbecca A.K.A 'The Caddy' (for Line of Duty fans), joined Chauvet as ChamSys product specialist in 2019, and since has become a full time member of ChamSys UK team, now as ChamSys UK Trainer. Rebbecca looks after the majority of our UK in-person training courses, both at our HQs and on the road. Rebbecca would quite happily skip the main course and jump straight to dessert when out for dinner if given the choice.
Dan Coombs
Dan Coombs
Dan joined the ChamSys team in 2013, originally as part of a 2-man production outfit, assembling MQ100 consoles (which was the flagship at the time) as well as the newly released MQ60. In 2016, he moved into the support and training team, while continuing to work with console hardware through servicing. Since then, along with the continued growth of ChamSys, Dan now supervises the support and servicing teams in the UK.

Always having a keen interest in sound and lighting, following University Ash joined the ChamSys Support team in 2016. Originally handling the incoming customer queries and personality requests, Ash now supervises: Software Support; integrating ChamSys resources into product development, QC, and marketing. When not at work, he's often found with a pink gin in hand.

Luke joined the ChamSys support team in 2022, following University studies in IT and a previous career in customer service. Based in our Southampton H.Q, Luke is a first line of support to our customers and one of the heroes behind keeping on top of our fixture requests, making sure our heads library is kept up to date.
Max Newbold
Max Newbold
Max joined the ChamSys support team in 2022, following University studies in computer networking. Max is an international Chess champion, winning many tournaments in his childhood. Based in our Southampton H.Q, Max is one of the heroes behind keeping on top of our fixture requests, and is a first line of support to our customers.
Frank Alofs
Frank Alofs
Frank started his career in 1991 at a company for exhibition and seminar technology with a specialization in lighting. In 1993, he then switched to the theatre sector, where he worked under Gerald Hudovernik at the Theatre St. Gallen, among others. Frank has also spent time on the Rock-n-Roll circuit as an operator and technical director. Frank has created many lighting designs in theatre, musical, drama and also many club design projects. Since 2011 Frank has been part of the ChamSys family. He first took care of ChamSys in Switzerland, before he took care of and built up ChamSys in Germany from 2014. Today Frank still passes on his knowledge to users in numerous trainings as well as support & business development.
Stefan Gunkel
Stefan Gunkel
Stefan has over 10 years of experience in the lighting and entertainment industry. As a system tech, programmer and designer he has worked on a variety of events from coporate, cruise ships to festivals. While mostly being on tour the last years he worked for artists like Cypress Hill and major festivals like Rock am Ring, Lollapalooza and Roskilde. Using ChamSys Consoles ever since, he joined the ChamSys team in May 2022 as ChamSys Support Manager Germany.
Luc Buytaert

Luc has been part of the ChamSys world as a distributor since 2003, before the first product was even available, with his own company (AVL - Audio Visual Lighting). Since February 2022, Luc has been working partially for ChamSys Benelux as BDM, support, and trainer, having already conducted ChamSys training courses since 2004.
Arne Vandenbroucke
Arne Vandenbroucke
Arne has been working in the event industry since 2016. It all started as a vacation job, building and breaking down a lot of stages. After some years he started to learn lighting consoles and ChamSys was the console of choice at his company. Starting off small and working his way up, he quickly became the company's #1 programmer & operator. He studied Industrial Automation and worked for 1.5 years in the food industry. Feeling the urge to get back into the event industry, Arne joined the ChamSys team in April 2022 as Chamsys Product Specialist for BeNeLux.

Alberto Garcia
Alberto has 12 years experience as a programmer on shows in Mexico, and joined ChamSys in 2018 as support and training for Latin America. Previous to this, he worked as a trainer at Vari international in Mexico City, the distributor of ChamSys in Mexico. Alberto has also participated in festivals in Latin America as ChamSys support.
Phil Watson
Phil Watson
Phil has over 40 years of console programming and lighting design experience. Originally from the UK, via Hong Kong, he has lived in the US for 32 years. He has toured in Europe, China and Taiwan. Phil is a Lighting Designer, Member USA Local 829, Lighting Supervisor, Projection and Set Designer and Console Programmer. His design work includes touring musicals, regional theatre, Vegas acts, and circus. Founder of the Cooking with ChamSys training method, and assisted by his LTP partners, Yellow Dog and Blue Dog, he has taught over 50 in-person training courses for ChamSys in the USA.
Chip (Charles Courser)
Chip (Charles Courser)
Charles (Chip) has over 15 years experience as a designer and programmer, running entertainment, corporate, and event lighting, spanning from small local nightclubs to internationally televised live events and corporate shows. When not playing with lights Chip can often be found under the hood of a car and owns more Volvos than he does lighting consoles.
Brett Lorrins
Brett Lorrins
Brett has been a Lighting Designer & Programmer for the last 28 years. He started his career in night clubs, and has since worked in every facet of the industry from cruise ships to corporate meetings, private events, and world concert tours, working with artists such as Kid Cudi, Akon, and Jason Bonham. Brett also subs in as Santa over the holiday season, since losing his razor during the first Covid lockdown!
